My Story

The Proposition Team and Friends will be walking the Cotswold Way in memory of their much-loved colleague and friend Angie Maddams.

Angie passed away on Sunday 15th October. She joined The Openwork Partnership in 1986 and spent over a decade within the Proposition team, as well as supporting our Executive team on regular occasions as a Personal Assistant. She was the kindest, nicest person you could ever meet, supporting and helping everyone she ever worked with and loved by so many.  Angie will be sorely missed within the Openwork family.

Angie’s husband, Clint, is also a loved and incredibly valued colleague at Openwork, working in our Facilities Team.

In memory of Angie the Proposition Team will be walking the challenging 102-mile Cotswold Way over 7 days, from the 16th - 22nd of June to raise funds for the Openwork Foundation.

Angie was an amazing supporter the Foundation over the years, fundraising and completing charity challenges and we are proud to continue her legacy of caring for and supporting those in need.

The Openwork Foundation provides grants to charities supporting vulnerable people in our communities in the UK and overseas.

In her last days Angie was cared for by the wonderful Prospect Hospice in Swindon. Angie, Clint and their three daughters received outstanding care from Prospect Hospice and the Openwork Foundation are proud to be able to support Prospect through their grant programme.

Thank you from the team for your support.
