My Story

I have been fortunate to be offered a place for the London Marathon in April 2023 in support of the Openwork Foundation.

It is a wonderful charity supporting vulnerable children and adults in the UK and overseas, from new-born babies to those in later life.

The work in the heart of the community and are supported by the Openwork partnership who not only uplift donations by 50% but also cover all the admin costs so all the money raised goes towards the charities that are supported.

It's a great charity, if you want to know more then please follow this link https://www.theopenworkpartnership.com/the-foundation/

All donations are greatly appreciated, I have done a marathon before but that was before I got Covid twice and developed some annoying long term breathing issues, hopefully I can get round before I am overtaken by someone dressed as a  rhinoceros (actually scratch that, fastest time dressed as a rhino for the London marathon is just over 4 hours!).
